Emerald Blueberry - Starter Plant
Emerald Blueberries are great if you’re looking for a large, mildly sweet berry! Full grown, this bush is between 5 and 6 feet tall with a spread up to 6 feet across. This Southern Highbush does well in zones 7-10, and does require cross-pollination from other Southern Highbush varieties. You can expect fruit around year two from planting, and flowers in April with fruit typically ready in July. Our Emerald Blueberry starter plants range in size from 8-10” and are guaranteed to arrive alive and in great condition (in the photo, our wicker chicken is 9” tall for size reference).

Our plants are tissue cultured rather than traditionally propagated, which helps ensure optimal health of your starter plants. Your new plants will need to be potted once received, and the first 10-14 days are the most important to ensure successful growing! Read our blog post “Caring For Your Newborn…Plants” for more information, and be sure to follow the instructions included in the box with your plants! Please note, due to the nature of the products we offer, we cannot accept returns. We guarantee our plants will arrive to you alive and in great condition. If you receive your plants and they have not survived shipment or there are any concerns, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. This will allow us to correct any problems, replace any plants that did not survive shipment, and make sure you have the best growing experience.
